2. Personal Information Collected

We collect the following information when you register for and use SpreadSite:

• Name, including a nickname.
• Email address.
• Profile image, if provided.
• Payment-card information required for paid plans, processed through Stripe and not stored directly by us.
• Data entered into spreadsheets by Users to create websites.

Spreadsheets contain website-creation information only and do not contain payment information.

3. Purposes of Use

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• Providing and operating SpreadSite.
• User support and inquiry responses.
• Notices about new features and campaigns.
• Maintenance and important service communications.
• Fraud prevention and security.
• Billing for paid plans.

If a purpose changes, we will limit the change to a reasonably related scope and notify Users or publish the change on this website.

4. Information Management and Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards for personal and sensitive information, including TLS encryption, external providers that follow industry-standard practices, and authentication through Clerk and Google OAuth.

5. External Services

International checkout uses Stripe Managed Payments and Link. Stripe processes billing and subscription information needed for payments, taxes, subscription management and transaction support. SpreadSite stores the billing country, base currency and Stripe subscription and price identifiers to verify contracts and provide the Service.

We use Google Workspace Add-ons, Google Sheets, Google OAuth, Clerk, Stripe, Supabase, AWS S3, and Vercel to provide the Service. These providers may use cookies where necessary. Please review each provider’s privacy policy for details.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not disclose personal information to third parties without consent, except where required by law, necessary to protect life, health, or property, necessary for public health or the sound development of children, or necessary to cooperate with government authorities.

7. Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion

We will promptly respond to a request to disclose, correct, or delete a User’s personal information after verifying the User’s identity.

Once account deletion is complete, the account, sites, image records and related data in the Service’s database, as well as stored image files, are deleted. Purchase history stored in Stripe is not included in this deletion.
